The 18th Edition of the event will be held from 6 to 8 June 2017.
The industry’s challenges will be one of the main focus points of SUBCONTRATACIÓN 2017, International Trade Show for Manufacturing Processes and Equipment, to be held at Bilbao Exhibition Centre from 6 to 8 June. The fair had a very clear purpose: to transform challenges into business opportunities for SMEs. The design and implementation of smart manufacturing systems shall determine the competitiveness of businesses; therefore the event’s sales team is working on supporting the companies in the search for new technologies, markets and customers.
The exhibition area of SUBCONTRATACIÓN will be shared by casting, machining, transformation without chip removal, die casting, thermal and surface treatment, metrology and CAD/CAM companies that will offer their tailor-made design processes to manufacture à la carte parts and equipment, from the most basic to the most complex operations. This specialised offer will attract international visitors from industries including automotive, aeronautics, machine tool, capital goods, iron and steel, power generation, railway, maritime and oil industries, all of which demand specific solutions for their projects.
SUBCONTRATACIÓN will also maintain its sales scheme, based on the unique combination of a trade show and a forum with B2B meetings. The event will offer the chance to take part in the greatest scheduled meetings’ event in the country: the XVII European Subcontracting Meeting, which is hosted by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Spanish Network of Subcontracting and the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. In 2015, within the framework of the event, meetings were held with buyers from Germany, Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Morocco and Romania. The evaluations collected at closure showed a very positive balance: 91% of the exhibitors established interesting commercial contacts with new domestic and international contractors. Thus, investments and efforts have been intensified for the 2017 edition, focusing on inviting strategic purchasers.
Lastly, SUBCONTRATACIÓN shall strengthen its profile as a space for business and transfer of knowledge thanks to the simultaneous celebration of the events: ADDIT3D, International Trade Show on Additive and 3D Manufacturing, FERROFORMA, International Hardware, DIY and Industrial Supplies Fair, FITMAQ, International Fair of Bargain & Used Machinery, MAINTENANCE, Industrial Maintenance Fair, and PUMPS & VALVES, International Trade Show for Pump Systems, Valves and Equipment for Industrial Processes. The synergies among sectors and new visitor profiles that will be attracted by the event, who are closely related to innovation and technological development, will some of the differentiating elements of this great industrial event.
