The European Industrial Subcontracting Meeting, one of the largest programs of B2B interviews in the country commemorates its 20th edition; a milestone in a trajectory of more than 40 years working as an ally of the subcontracting industry in the country. It is an absolutely differentiating business forum that year after year consolidates itself as the largest B2B event in Europe and positions Subcontracting as an international reference in the framework of Advanced Manufacturing (AF).
The meeting, organized by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce together with CámaraBilbao and Bilbao Exhibition Centre, in collaboration with the Chambers of Commerce of Spain, has the participation of a hundred major buyers from countries such as France, Italy, Morocco, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, Finland, Holland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland and Tunisia, as well as Spain.
On the first day of the meeting, held today, meetings were held between exhibiting companies and subcontracting buyers in general, while tomorrow will be attended by representatives of the automotive, renewable energy and plastics sectors. Thursday, June 8, the last day of the meeting, will be dedicated to the additive manufacturing, defense and aeronautics sectors. As a result of all these meetings, nearly a thousand business meetings have been scheduled.
In the words of Josep Maria Gomes, International Business Developer Manager of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, these meetings have established themselves as “an essential platform that, thanks to its international recognition, bring together a select community of buyers from high value-added sectors who come to the event in search of new partnerships and business opportunities”. “The magnitude of these meetings allows participants to have access to a wide network of contacts and high-caliber business opportunities”, explains Josep Maria Gomes.
