SUBCONTRATACIÓN, International Fair of Manufacturing Processes & Equipment, takes a step further in innovation and new technologies by including a new space in its exhibition, which will focus on additive manufacturing. This area, promoted by ADDIMAT, Spanish Association for Additive and 3D Manufacturing, will feature manufacturers of machinery, equipment and consumables, manufacturers of pieces using additive technology and distributors, as well as related engineering and services firms that will present their state-of-the-art developments. This will be the second edition of the main additive manufacturing event in Spain, after it started during BIEMH 2014.
Innovation will be very present in the special area provided for the composites industry, whose use is extending to cover more applications and sectors. For the first time in the trade show, companies covering the entire “composites” components manufacturing value chain will differentially participate in the exhibition. Such companies will be related to the supply of raw materials, die manufacturing, transformation, manufacturing technologies, design and research.
298 exhibitors have confirmed their participation at the show and are currently preparing their campaign with the different promotional tools provided by SUBCONTRATACIÓN to guarantee maximum brand visibility. They include the new Exhibitors’ Directory, with functions and contents that will strengthen the on-line presence of exhibitors and will create a very practical suppliers guide for the professionals of the sector. 78% of the registered companies are subcontractors related to different manufacturing processes, while 22% are machinery and equipment suppliers.
A COMMERCIAL SPACE TO OBTAIN RESULTS
The companies are making a positive assessment of SUBCONTRATACIÓN’s business proposal, which they consider as an interesting platform where they can obtain results thanks to its design, combining a trade show and B2B meetings. All the strategic activity sectors of their main clients will be present at the interview agenda of the show, which targets professional visitor profiles searching for specific solutions for particular projects.
While the first session of the European Subcontracting Forum, on the 26th, will focus its interview agenda on purchasers of the railway, energy, iron and steel industry, medical techniques and household appliances sectors, the second day will focus on the automotive and petrochemical industries.
Meanwhile, on May 28th, AEROTRENDS will gather front-line European purchasers from the aeronautics sector at the arranged meetings area, which will be completed with keynote speeches and round tables. At these round tables, leading companies in the aeronautics sector will offer their vision on the industrial trends and advanced manufacturing with the purpose of finding common grounds and business opportunities with participating suppliers. Some of the confirmed sessions include the manufacturing and assembly of structures, engine components and system manufacturing.
SUBCONTRATACIÓN, a unique trade show in Spain for SMEs and subcontractors, will hold its 17th edition from May 26th to 29th, at the same time as FITMAQ, FERROFORMA, MAINTENANCE and PUMPS & VALVES.
